ABOUT
Interrupting the patterns that keep us stuck.
A growing focus of Dustyn’s practice is communication and relational pattern analysis within couples and partner dynamics. He helps people understand their physical pacing, withdrawal, escalation, emotional pursuits, indirectness, over-explaining, tension responses, and the unconscious roles they play in closeness and misunderstanding.
Dustyn’s approach blends somatic psychology, attachment-focused and psychodynamic therapy, nervous system support, behavioral interruption work, experiential exercises, formative therapy, and detailed relational observation. Learning to adjust one’s autopilot and tolerate the discomfort of the in-between can have a positive cost benefit — later outweighing the pain and time it took to interrupt long-standing patterns. He uses talk therapy mixed with a mind/body perspective to help clients make the changes they want, reevaluate their lives, and actually test those skills out.
Dustyn works with clients navigating boundaries, emotional regulation, people-pleasing, intimacy, shutdown, conflict avoidance, resentment, and repeating cycles within relationships. For those willing to try something new, the risk can be worth it.
Dustyn’s work centers on the relational patterns and communication dynamics that shape how we show up with others.
