What's Included

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the evaluation take?

Testing itself is typically completed across multiple sessions. Report turnaround depends on the option you choose: Normal (6–8 weeks), Expedited (4–6 weeks), Rush (3–5 weeks), or Tornado (2–3 weeks).

What if the evaluation shows a need for accommodations or support?

The final report includes specific recommendations for accommodations and interventions. From there, our team can help you pursue an IEP or 504 plan, and we offer tutoring services that use the evaluation findings to build strategies tailored to the individual’s cognitive style.

Who conducts the neuropsychological evaluation?

Neuropsychological evaluations at Unfold Psychology are conducted by Dr. Heafey and Dr. Hazzard, both licensed clinical psychologists with expertise in comprehensive brain-behavior assessment.

Who is neuropsychological testing for?

Neuropsychological testing is appropriate across the lifespan — for children, adolescents, and adults. For children, it often clarifies learning and developmental questions; for adults, it is frequently used after a concussion, traumatic brain injury, or stroke, to monitor cognitive change over time, or when changes in thinking, focus, or memory begin to affect work or daily life. For forensic and legal contexts, see our Forensic Psych Evaluations page.
